Walnut Charging Valet Tray

This simply-styled walnut tray has a convenient secret: a small notch allows charging cables to make their way inside and stay put, instead of falling off your nightstand where cats and Roombas have their way with them. (Ask me how I know!)

The walnut is grain-matched around each corner, and the miters are reinforced with maple splines for plenty of strength. The bottom is 1/4" red oak ply.
