Purpleheart Ballpoint Pen - Gunmetal Hardware

Purpleheart wood (Peltogyne spp.), native to South America, features a rich, warm purple color---no dyes or stains here! A crystal clear cyanoacrylate finish preserves the natural wood color and allows for a glassy smooth texture.

This pen, supported by hardware with a dark gray gunmetal finish, is medium-chunky: not too thick or too thin, with a moderate weight in the hand. The ballpoint is deployed by a quarter turn of the upper barrel, fashioned as a faux cap with a sturdy spring-loaded clip.

Naturally, a high-quality purple ink cartridge (Monteverde C13) is pre-loaded in the pen, but a basic black cartridge is included if your documents need a more formal touch. Refills are available from a variety of sources: any "Cross-style" ballpoint refill should work.
